Margaux Warne is a freelance art historian based in Christchurch. She studied Art History at the University of Canterbury and has recently lived and worked in England and France. Her research focuses on aspects of nineteenth-century art and literature, and New Zealand art. She has presented talks at London’s Foundling Museum, the University of Canterbury, St. Margaret’s College and local U3A groups, and she delivers regular lectures at Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū. Margaux has a particular interest in the Brontës’ novels and art.
