Paula Green has published twelve poetry collections, including four for children, and has edited several anthologies. Co-written with Harry Ricketts, her book 99 Ways into New Zealand Poetry was short-listed for the 2010 NZ Post Book Awards. She runs two poetry blogs: NZ Poetry Box and NZ Poetry Shelf. In 2017 she received the Prime Minister’s Award for Poetry and was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for Services to Poetry and Literature. In 2019 The Cuba Press published her children’s collection Groovy Fish and Other Poems, Seraph Press published her poetry collection, The Track, and Massey University Press published Wild Honey: Reading New Zealand Women’s Poetry. Wild Honey was a finalist in the 2020 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards. She lives near Auckland’s West Coast with her family.
