Somehow on the journey from childhood to adulthood, we’ve gone from reading soothing stories at bedtime to checking (but never replying to) our emails and staring at Twitter as we try to nod off. Join Pip Adam, Eamonn Marra, and Laura Borrowdale, as they provide us with an alternative – hopeful small stories about adults on good adventures, arriving at meetings on time and unhurried, or not forgetting an important birthday. Devised and hosted by guest programmer Ray Shipley and with live illustrations by The Spinoff‘s Toby Morris. Please note that unfortunately, Tusiata Avia is no longer able to appear in the event, but Ana Mulipola will be reading Tusiata’s story in her place.
COVID-19 update. Ticket allocation is for the current Alert Level. If there is a change back to Level 2 at the time of the festival, tickets purchased under the original Level 2 requirements will be given preference. Refunds will be processed by Eventfinda for tickets no longer valid under updated conditions.
